Audit Log Policy

Every screening event is sealed into an append-only ledger. Here's how we log it, who can see it, and how you can pull it for litigation or audit.

1. Append-Only Sealing

Every screening event — the query, the registries checked, the determination, and a NIST atomic-clock timestamp — is hashed with SHA-256 and written to the Master Ledger before any result is shown. Entries cannot be edited or deleted; a correction can only be issued as a new, separately sealed entry that references the one it supersedes.

2. Who Can View Logs

You can see your own screening history and certificates from your Audit Dashboard after signing in. Anyone holding a certificate's hash — you, your counsel, a CBP auditor, an OFAC investigator — can independently confirm it's unaltered at ledger.easyworth.net, without needing an EasyWorth account.

3. Retention & Export

Sealed certificates are retained on the Master Ledger indefinitely — their evidentiary value depends on being permanent. To export your chain of custody for litigation or audit, download the certificate PDF from your Audit Dashboard, which includes every field that was sealed and the verification link.

"The process is as important as the result. We log the process so you can defend the result."
